1. What We Collect
When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, email, and order details. We also collect your phone number. We use it for delivery updates, and only if you tick the consent box at checkout, for SMS marketing. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.
When you browse the site we collect analytics and advertising identifiers through cookies and similar technologies. This tells us how the site is used and which ads bring visitors to us.
2. Why We Collect It
To fulfil orders, communicate with you, meet legal obligations, and improve the website. We do not sell your data.
3. Disclosure
We share limited information with the following, only as needed to run the store:
- Australia Post, for delivery.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Klaviyo, for email and SMS.
- Our hosting provider, to run the website.
- Google, for advertising and analytics measurement.
4. Advertising and Measurement
We use Google Ads and Google Analytics. When you complete a purchase we share limited customer data with Google for advertising conversion measurement. This is known as enhanced conversions. The data shared is your email address, phone number, name and address, and it is sent in hashed form so Google cannot read the original details.
This lets Google measure which ads led to sales. We never send your card details. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
5. Klaviyo Onsite Tracking
We use Klaviyo onsite tracking cookies to recognise returning visitors. If you have given us your email address before, this lets us link your visit to your existing profile so we can send you abandoned cart reminders when you leave items in your cart. You can block or clear these cookies in your browser at any time.
6. Marketing Messages
We email your order confirmation and tracking details as part of fulfilling your order. Promotional email and SMS are only sent where you have opted in. SMS marketing requires you to have ticked the consent box at checkout.
You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. You can also reply STOP to any text. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about your order.
7. Overseas Disclosure (APP 8)
Some providers may store data on servers outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure APP-consistent handling.
8. Security & Retention
We use HTTPS, restricted admin access, and reputable processors. Order records are retained for 7 years per Australian record-keeping requirements.
9. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@purevial.shop. Complaints may be escalated to the OAIC.
